Operations

As Operations Manager for the business I have a high-level view of the organisation and deal with things such as Anti-Money Laundering, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Human Resources (HR) alongside managing our team of bookkeepers.

As well as looking after business operations I’m also client facing and I provide tax and accounting services using various online software packages and Excel. This includes managing payments for our clients ensuring whatever needs to be paid is paid on time and in a security conscious way. I most enjoy helping clients achieve peace of mind and clarity on their accountancy affairs.

In 2004, before joining the practice I had a successful career with my family’s business starting from the bottom up and working my way up to company secretary learning all aspects of administration, accounts, HR, VAT, payroll, debt recovery and credit control along the way. I joined Tax Return Adviser in June 2018 after deciding it was time for a new work challenge.

Before I joined my parents’ company I was a beauty therapist and I still enjoy that world but my biggest joy is spending time with my two young boys as well as swimming, reading and socialising with friends and family.
