I have been a bookkeeper since 2016, working with a range of sole trader, LLP, Ltd company, and charity clients.

I enjoy getting to know my clients businesses. It enables me to pick up any accounting oddities and the opportunity to suggest time efficient methods for managing their books.

I also enjoy training people on Xero too which provides clients with enough knowledge to utilise the software and all it has to offer which in turn gives the client a clearer view of their company finances and helps with future planning.

As a Tax Return Adviser team member, I use a hybrid working pattern to give me a work life balance that enables me to form bonds with the team while meeting childcare commitments.

Before working in finance, I ran my own childcare business whilst my children were small. My “office” included home, beach and park locations, with never a dull moment with 3 under 5.   Before the children arrived I worked for solicitors’ in the Northwest and later in Belfast specialising in property.
